This section targets anyone who wants to learn how to create and run an OpenText™ Analytics Database database. This section requires no special knowledge at this point, although a rudimentary knowledge of basic SQL commands is useful when you begin to run queries.

What you need

The examples in this section require one of the following:

  • OpenText™ Analytics Database installed on one host or a cluster of hosts. OpenText recommends a minimum of three hosts in the cluster.

  • OpenText™ Analytics Database installed on a virtual machine (VM).
