OpenText Core Analytics Database
Enable user-defined functions in C++ and Java
OTCAD now provides the ability to load and execute user defined functions in C++ and Java languages. This provides greater flexibility to customize the database functions. For more information, see UDx.
Configure and manage alerts
OTCAD now allows users to configure and receive alerts for specific events within the database, enabling them to stay informed and respond quickly. Users can enable and customize both pre‑configured and custom alerts. These alerts generate messages whenever the monitored component exceeds its defined threshold. For more information, see Alerts.
Create and manage resource pools
OTCAD enables you to manage system workload resources through resource pools. You can create and configure these resource pools to control memory, concurrency thresholds and define query, pool priorities. For more information, see Resource pools.
Advanced filters in metrics
OTCAD now introduces advanced filters that help you narrow down the data to specific details for better analysis. For more information, see Dashboards.
Object-specific restore
OTCAD now enables you to restore specific objects when you accidentally delete a schema, table, or data within a table, instead of recovering the entire database from a restore point. For more information, see Restore points.
SQL editor enhancements
OTCAD is now enhanced with an intuitive SQL editor for efficient management of database objects. It provides a hierarchical view of the database objects for better exploration of schemas, tables, views, and functions. You can also upload and download SQL scripts from the SQL editor. For more information, see SQL editor.
