Configuring event reporting
Event reporting is automatically configured for .log, and current events are automatically posted to the ACTIVE_EVENTS system table.

vertica.log, and current events are automatically posted to the ACTIVE_EVENTS system table. You can also configure Vertica to post events to syslog and SNMP.
